Ever work for a company with a bad reputation?

Yes it sucks. Went to work at a place acting like they wanted to add a shop/dyno to compliment parts. After working there awhile,i started seeing why people werent getting their parts swiftly and phone never answered. Lady was lazy and quite a BSer. Sucked knowing peoples stuff was there and just not getting shipped. Or waiting couple days to make a larger order.
Just stick with it. Nowadays the job pickens are getting slim,somebody has to show up ready to take a position. What kinda job if i may ask,sis is outta work

Office work in the general sense. We are a retail energy provider. The positions are in Customer Service but the roles aren't like a typical call center role.

And for what it's worth there were some things I did not agree with when I started here as well. But I have been able to influence my management to reconsider how they approach customers and we have changed pretty significantly.

"okay, let's do the 180 degree opposite.."

Know how? If someone got a couple hours of ot because we were shorthanded(we were ALWAYS shorthanded), the manager would just polietly shave those hours off back down to 40. You know, for the good of the company!

They were doing that crap to me back in 91. Lure you in for some very rare OT. I thought it was odd how some of the senior guys wouldn't bite until I learned I would never actually see the OT.

I worked at Buckner, Mesquite, and Garland 90-92 and I remember when we had people lined up at the parts counter and we stayed busy. I actually liked working there, but I went to school and on to a better career. Its too bad, it was once a great company. Its like a ghost town when you go to their stores now. You have to beg someone to come to the parts counter to help you.
