Saw a truck driving down 183 about 60mph with a dog hanging off it, choked on its leash, paws dragging the ground. If you want that to be your dog, then go ahead.

Usually in town, like at the grocery store they would just sit on the back of the truck and wait.

I saw a dude in downtown Ft Worth one morning with a flat bed and a poor dog riding on it with no leash. That dude was hauling ass around corners and that dog was clawing for dear life trying to stay on.

No laws against it as far as I know. I have a single cab F150 and I let this monster ride up front, but I do put a blanket over the seats so I dont' mess up my interior.

Friend of mine has a truck dog. About a year ago he hit a pretty big dip in the road and looked in the mirror and the dog was standing in the road looking at him drive away. He backed up and the dog jumped back in.

I saw it all the time in small town Texas. Flatbed dodge, cattle dog riding it like a giant skateboard. Kinda cool I thought.

I've seen dogs riding on top of the tool box, face over the top of the cab and in the wind going down the highway.

I also have a buddy whose dog jumped out and got fucked up. Survived, but barely.

                              I wouldn't do it.
