Was at the wonderful rangers game last night, we come home click the A/C down to 76 and we go to bed.

Get up the next morning, STILL 79 in the house and its pretty humid/warm. Go upstairs to my office to look out the window to see if the unit is on outside, all my stuff on the wall is on the ground/couch... broken frames, diploma hanging by one nail, diarama of a mustang in a garage is on the floor...what happened? Didn't happen after we got home...what would knock our A/C out but all electrical is fine and destroy my office wall?

Yep, my house backs up to a "buffer zone" of forestry. Probably a good 40 - 50 acres of just undeveloped land between me and I-20. Coyotes and all sorts of other critters live in there, weird to think I am in the middle of the metroplex and I have a forest behind me, it's really quite nice except it has been attracting lightning really bad this year.

Oh and breakers/fuse box fine, no exterior damage . Talked with my LEO neighbor and he said something happened about 8:40 last night that sounded like an explosion...rattled his walls too...calling an A/C company..hopefully a capacitor or whatever isn't too steep.
