At the time he had the attack, he was between jobs, so he still had his insurance coverage, but nothing else coming in, it was a very stressful time for my family. Thanks for being so considerate.Originally posted by davbrucas View PostSo you think we should not perform non-emergent, life-saving medical care on adults that cannot pay? It would be a good answer to overcrowding.

I agree that there are issues with healthcare...especially the cost. The billing side can be aggravating as well. I dont have an answer for what needs to be done to fix it, but this is a capitalist society and everyone wants a piece of the pie.
I do not set my billing or deal with anything on the cost side.

So it's society's fault that he had no income? If he is 58 and still bouncing between jobs, then it's nobody else's fault but his.Originally posted by Stunter Bob View PostAt the time he had the attack, he was between jobs, so he still had his insurance coverage, but nothing else coming in, it was a very stressful time for my family. Your dad should be dead by all accounts...maybe he should show some appreciation for the new lease on life by selling his assets and paying his bills and starting over? :wink1:Originally posted by Stunter Bob View PostJust like a doctor, read only whats in print, no gray area. Live or Die, you still get paid.
Great success.
