I think we charged $150 for it. It fed about 12 people or so. I wouldn't charge that these days though.

I've learned the hard way on a few cakes that I have a habit of undercharging, trying to make sure that I don't miss a cake. my portfolio is NOTHING like that. all of my cakes are on my FB page

x2. People are charging some outrageous amounts for cakes now, and selling them.

I don't know why, but they are. I guess people can be hard up for money, but when it comes to that birthday cake for little timmy or grandma flo, they will poney up the dough.

Well, I think Bronwen, Duff, Mike, and Buddy (among many other highly skilled and professionally trained folks) charge that much. I highly doubt I can compete with those guys, even if I could I don't think I'd want to.

I appreciate the compliment though.
