I waer Oakley M Frames with rubber a nose piece. Wearing it upside down on my hat will put the hard, plastic frame on rest, not the rubber nose piece that will easily bend and degrade. This has been a historical practice by M Frame users in the past (mostly baseball players, but I'm not sure when it spilled over to other glasses and people without hats. I guess it has evolved into a world-wide movement to be more like Denny.

take half a second and think about it... they're resting on your nose, covering your eyes... you grab them by the arms and lift them up and over onto the back of your head and set the arms back on top of your ears. one quick motion.

why on earth would you take the time to twist them around so that they were right side up? and then have to twist them around again to put them back on?

the reason I put them on the back of my head vs. on top is because I don't get sweat/grease on the inside of the lenses that way vs. on top of my head with the inside of the lenses resting on my hair

Wear you shades behind you head, upside down behind your head or on the back of your collar when you're not wearing them? I'm at the mall and noticed some dudes wearing them in that fashion. I just keep mine in my pocket when not in use....

How big are your pockets? I have never had a pair fit in my pockets. lol

I hang mine on my collar below my chin. Mine are metal frames though, so wearing them on the forehead for extended periods will bend them out slightly, and they won't fit my face snug. I do the same with my plastic frames out of habit.

Do you have collars elsewhere besides under your chin? lol

I usually stay with a high & tight and/or mohawk... zero guard errwhere but the top even with a little hair, if you let them hang down a little, just the top of the glasses frame rests on your head/neck, lenses don't touch the hair

Makes sense. I don't know why it seemed so odd till you explained it that way.
