The cop that took the report knows Jimmy and said that he would throw everythign he could at him. He may have just been talking out of his ass but hopefully something more comes of it.

I offerred to exchange insurance information and he refused saying he didn't hit her so he would not provide it.

Something tells me you're going to end up forking out a deductible and have to get it covered under your insurance. But don't fret. You guys will have a party at some point, and I'm sure we can more than make up for that $500 in just a few minutes.
