Not surprised it was high, better then last year though, when it was 283.
so do you turn off your a/c completely while you are at work during the day? I leave the a/c on 85 while i am away and when i get home around 4ish I leave it there till around 8pm and will lower it to around 80-81.

I have CoServ as well and the june bill was $211 for 2003 Kwh used. It went from $85 to $120 to $211 the last three bills. I dont know if I can do anything different or just have to eat it till around sept. sometime.
The sucky thing is the front of the house(approx. 2000 sq ft.) faces west, so it gets the brunt of the afternoon heat and the a/c just runs and runs even at 85.

Ours has went way down since we had a new a/c system installed. Last year our highest was $625. 1800 sq/ft with a pool that has 2 220v pumps that run 8-10 hours a day. Highest this year has been $253.

last bill was $239, 1100 sq ft , lol. We usually leave it at 74 all day but now moved it up to 76. But I think the t-stat is alittle off cause 74 to everyone that comes over to our house says its colder than that.

This was on TXU high ass plans. But we just changed a few weeks ago. Older house that needs alot of energy effiect stuff lol.
