94.85 for a 1400 sqft apt!

That is with the a/c blasting all day long here in the desert

whenever i leave i turn the ac off, when i'm home it's on. not sure what the temp is but i'd say around 70-72

$150 and some change for 2500 but my wife is a CHEAP ASS and leaves the thermostat on 78*+.

When I come home for a month our bill is double that because I run the A/C cooler and turn on the unit in the garage also.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK that! We crank it down at night moreso than during the day.

Last month was $160 this month was $214, I really don't get it. I haven't changed anything from my normal routine.
I keep it at 77 during the day, then 70-71 at night

Yeah, it's ridiculous. I was watering the lawn a lot, but c'mon?!

I just looked and my electric bill for the same time period was $216. 2200 sq ft. $0.07/ KWHr with Reliant. Add in Natural Gas and trash and I paid more in basic utilities than I did for the mortgage.

Assuming that DFW is de-regulated (isn't the whole state?), everyone make sure they are watching their KWHr rate very closely. They can and WILL increase it by 25% per month if you aren't locked into a contract.

mine stays in the 65$ range, 1200' apt, keep it mid 70's all the time...lots of electronics also

My last one was $285-ish. I keep the house at 73 most of the day when the ol' lady is home, or 75-76 if we're out of the house, and then 72 in the evening and 71 at night while I sleep. I've had them upwards of $400, but hopefully I won't hit that this summer.

same here. i got over it already, it too f'ing hot! Cheapskate SOB at work said, yeah man, its getting out out there. i had to put the A/c on 80. Guy who lives behind me doesnt even turn his shit on! has all his windows open and like 576 people live in that house. i bet is smells like teen spirit up in thurrr
