Is it illegal or against city code to hook up the hose from your washing machine and run the "gray water" from clothes washing into the yard? I did this when I had my house and never got in trouble and the yard stayed green. The city didn't know how it was being done. But I also camoflaged my hose to do it. My neighbor on the other hand was watering from the outside hydrant and got a $250 fine for it during the middle of the day and on off days. Would like to know if anyone else does this.

If there are water restrictions for watering your yard with a garden hose hooked up outside what makes you think it isn't illegal to hook it up to your laundry room faucet and water your grass?Originally posted by Cmarsh93zDon't Fuck with DFWmustangs...the most powerfull gang I have ever been a member of.

he means using the waste water from the wash and rinse cycles. Instead of the water running into the sewer he would just run it out on the lawn. we used to do this all the time out in the sticksOriginally posted by 347Mike View PostIf there are water restrictions for watering your yard with a garden hose hooked up outside what makes you think it isn't illegal to hook it up to your laundry room faucet and water your grass?

Great city of galand..
I was curious. This is probably why they didn't figure it out. It never ran on the sidewalk or down the sewer, just into the front and back yard. Not to mention my water bill still stayed the same. I know they were looking tho. G Funny thing is, I quit having issues with insects inside and around the house. Go figure.Originally posted by Tx Redneck View PostIt's a health code violation here in Garland so i assume that's the same elsewhere.
