Holy F^%*!! just found out that this was a birthday party for the two siblings that go to school with my kids. one of them is a year older than my daughter and the other is a year younger than my son. WTF is this world coming to?? Supposedly the parents were going through some trouble and she had a restraining order on him.

My wife and I were in Barcelona walking down La Ramblas when we heard a comotion like a fight was breaking out. We are not lookyloos, I grabbed my wife and we went the other direction. Sure as shit a brawl broke out and as the masses were heading towards it, we were heading away.

You're a 100% correct, avoiding a problem is the best thing possible and paying attention w/ a little paranoia is okay. Better safe then sorry...blah blah

I attended many a birthday party at that skating rink in the mid 80's and used to go to Forum Bowl across the street all the time in my early 20's. It was a shit hole back then, it's no surprise how bad it is now.

Same here. I grew up in SGP and used to go to Roller World all the time in the 80s and early 90s. In those days the place was packed with people and everyone had a great time skating and dating. It's too bad the place turned to shit because I have a lot of good memories about that time in my life. May they RIP.
