I'm not making excuses but the things that are being said here are not relevant to the situation. My question was is someone has dealt with something like this and what they found to work/not work.

- Don't meet him in a parking lot
- If she has a family don't expect them to just fall by the wayside
- Put my ego aside and don't rile up his emotions because that's only going to lead to more contact
