DLP's are getting cheaper and cheaper

I just bought a Toshiba 55" LED TV for 1299 at Best Buy and its by far the best picture I have ever seen. And its the biggest TV I have ever owned!

Fry's has this 82" Mitsubishi WD-82838 1080P 3D Ready DLP HDTV for $1499. It's available for in-store pickup only. The HDTV features 1080p resolution and is #D and Wifi-ready.
Pffft, if I bought that, where would I put my other 2 just like it?

Secondly, I wasn't 'looking' for a TV. I cruise multiple deal websites daily and came across this. Silly me thought someone who IS looking for a TV might be interested.

Anything else your dumbass wants to contribute? Didn't think so. Shut the fuck up.

I have this tv and it is HUGE and amazing. I love it. It displaced a 73" which displaced a 65". It is funny because it seems like everyone dwarfed the other. I have this picture with all the sizes together and the 82" makes the 65" look like a 19". You can't beat the bang for the buck. These are great TVs and that is a great price. I think there is a 92" coming out and I can't imagine how big that looks in person.

Someone referenced this source on Canada a while back and I ordered a bulb for our Samsung DLP from them just because the TV was about three years old. The original bulb was still fine BTW and I simply wanted a replacement should DLP technology be rendered obsolete and parts become scarce. The price was good and the service was excellent.

Value for size over Plasma/LCD/LED. I bought my 65" DLP at FRY's for $899 about 1.5 yrs ago and got a Sony Blue Ray for $50 as part of the deal. I was coming from a 61" projection so didn't want to go down in size. I couldn't touch and LCD in this size for less than around double the price. I realize I could get a better picture but I am 100% satisfied watching this tv especially HD programming and Blue Rays. I chose the size/price over slightly better quality. My DLP is about 14" deep which isn't bad and not heavy by any stretch. I pick it up off the stand and sit it on the coffee table when I clean without a problem which is not bad for a 65".
