Backorders happen at all online businesses, unfortunately it's the nature of the business.

I placed an order for a customer for an item that I told him was out of stock, he wanted it anyways, that was June 20th. While the item was shown to be back at distribution centers on July 31st it still is not. I give the guy a weekely update. If he gets tired of waiting I'll refund his money.
