I dont know if this is still the case but those things were selling for BIG money for a while. No one was making replacement parts and when RC rock crawling started everyone was grabbing up clod buster axles. Now they make aluminum versions if I remember right though. I never got into rock crawling, looked fun to build one but crawling over rocks sounds like a snooze fest.

I would go with a 1/10. They are actually a few bucks cheaper and they handle jumps and just take a beating overall much much better.

The 1/16 is alot faster, but that comes at a price with an ill handling truck and more prone to crashes.

I had a revo 3.5 and it was by far the baddest 4x4 rc truck that I ever owned.
I've been dicking around with "hobby quality" R/C cars for almost 20 years.

Electric cars now outperform nitro and with obviously less hassle, you're dead wrong homey.

FWIW I have nitro and electric kits and 8ish or so total.

No joke he must have had some ragged electric cars if he thinks they suck. Electric cars will own gas cars now hands down. Im going to mikes monday.
