Hate to change the subject, bcoop: who you saw on 35 was the sheriff office, not constables. Precinct 5, and I believe precinct 1 had their traffic units dismantled. Either way, turning your head to crime is wrong.

Now that I think about it, that's correct. Sheriff Dept has black hoods. constable is all white. I was thinking about this ordeal when I saw them, because I'd already heard about it on the news, and being that Desoto is just before Glenn Heights where this all took place.

Precinct 1 Constable Derick Evans told News 8 that Monday's incident remains under an investigation which he hopes to have completed by the end of the week. Until then, he declined to discuss the help request that was denied or any associated policies.
