Saw something on the WFAA website about it, but cannot watch the video from work. Anybody have any details? What it is, exactly? How long it will run for? Prices (if applicable), etc...?

Here is what their website says:
A world of beer awaits you September 14th through 27th. Take your love of beer beyond the bottle. Learn new ways to pair beer with food or use beer as an ingredient. Sample unique and rare brews from all over the world and take cooking classes featuring some of our most renowned experts. Tip one back and discover Brewtopia, only at Central Market
You also can get up to 10% off beer during that period..

If you spend $25 all beers are 25% off, I think the other scales are 10 and 15%. They did the same thing right around July 4th. It's a great freakin deal and the discount is based on the entire receipt, not just beers. So $25 in steaks and 1 beer, you get 25% off the beer.

Oh really, that does sound like a good deal. We usually spend $125.00 at any grocery store, so I will have to check this out.Originally posted by BP View PostIt's a great freakin deal and the discount is based on the entire receipt, not just beers. I go about once a month, get some small items and stuff you can't get anywhere else. But I don't make it a habit of shopping there for day to day groceries, you'll easily spend double or triple what you would at a normal grocery store.Originally posted by stangin4lyfe View PostYup, same reason I don't shop there or whole foods!.

That's not true if you look at what you are buying. We do the majority of our shopping there and spend under $100 per week. Certain things we still go to Kroger for. Now if you buy a bunch of steak/chicken/seafood, yeah it can add up quick, but other items are priced similar to other grocery stores.Originally posted by Kenny_Stang View PostI go about once a month, get some small items and stuff you can't get anywhere else.
