I am modifying too. I think I will throw in Chemisty2 also with circuit analysis, diff Eq and linear algebra. Just need the ok from the wife. This with gives me the option of going down the physics major road or the electrical engineering. There is just too much cool stuff to learn.class joke

Differential equations was cake. I'm not sure why so many people complain about it. And really, if you know that material very well you can derive most equations in later technical classes; then you don't have to memorize a ton of dumbed-down algebraic equations, just a few fundamental equations.Originally posted by That_Is_My_El_Camino View PostDigital logic and differential equations were my favorites.

From what I've heard it is more difficult to get a job with a physics major... unless you plan on getting a masters or phd.Originally posted by TexasDevilDog View PostI am modifying too. The director of engineering at my work mentors me. I asked what he thought of me getting a BS in physics with an engineering option instead of BSEE. He said he didn't know what to do with an engineering physicist.Originally posted by TENGRAM View PostFrom what I've heard it is more difficult to get a job with a physics major... unless you plan on getting a masters or phd.class joke

I took solid state physics as an elective at UTA. Was a very cool course and might give you a taste of the physics that interests you, while still focusing on the engineering degree.Originally posted by TexasDevilDog View PostThe director of engineering at my work mentors me.
