Getting Out of Cell Contract

I had ATT. When my dad passed needless to say I got 1000 phone calls and went over my minutes. They sent me a $350 fucking bill. I paid it. Then next month I got another $300+ bill. I called and bitched. They lowered it some. I just switched to metro and have not looked back. They can shove that up their ass.

So you have a set # of minutes and apparently went way over that... and it's AT&T's fault? Do you know how asinine that sounds?

Does AT&T keep information on how many dropped calls a subscriber has? I have been with them since the SWBell Mobile days and it seems my dropped calls are getting more numerous, especially in and around my neighborhood (Murphy). Of late, I have had Razor, an iPhone4 (it got washed in the clothes washer while it was ON, hence it died a quick death!) and now a old person's phone, a Pantech Ease. The Razor seemed to have the least dropped calls.

Anyone have experience with the 3G Microcell to improve reception at their house?

reception oftentimes is dependent on the phone. I have unlimited data. Enter confused look.

samsung galaxy is a pretty good phone though... i have one with sprint and no problems at all

Reception must be due to phone.

When I was with TMobile, 98% of the time I had NO issues with signal and that was with a shitty 5 year old BlackJack. I travelled all over the US (East, West, North and South) and the ONLY place I ever had any issues was in Omaha, Nebraska.

I recently switched to ATT for the iPhone 4 and haven't had any issues in the metroplex thus far. I don't foresee any issues though. If I do I will be SOL, my company BB is also ATT so if its an ATT issue I will be dead in the water.

I have unlimited data. Be aware that they've pulled back on the speed for unlimited data users. It's no where near as fast as it used to be, but the lack of worry in making sure you're connected to wifi is nice enough for me to keep unlimited.

My speeds seem to be just fine. It's all in the APN config.
