Once I get settled into my new house, I'm going to look into buying a few properties in my current neighbor hood. Houses that were 160k last year are selling for 90k..."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

It's bs...Originally posted by Denny View PostYa, I think CAD has mine @ 99K this year. LMAO!

What I can't grasp is they are selling new 1300sqft houses a few miles north of me for 90k.... How on earth is my 2500sqft house on a 1/3 acre only worth 115k?"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. You attempt to use this, any bank or mortgage company will come after you with whole law firms. Thye will tie you up in court for a decade(or 2) and you spend years in court and hundreds of thousands in legal fees.

You are attempting to upset the mortgage status quo with financial firms that have trillions of dollars at stake, they will bury you in 200 lawyers for decades, while you pay $350 per hour to your lawyer waving this paper you bought for $800. You might even have an unusual fatal car wreck, or undiagnosed fatal illness........

It's no differnent than the folks who challenge the IRS over the 16th Amendment not being properly ratified by all 48 states in 1913, thus Income Tax is unconstitional.... The IRS is still going to seize your house & throw you in jail.
Correct. This site/co does nothing but assist you in going through the foreclosure process....you don't get to "walk away" from anything. Wasting $800 bucks when you cant pay your mortgage anyway seems pointless.

 Yep, housing sucks.

Nate is helping us out tremendously selling our house. We have a contract on the table and just executed it.

Basically we listed originally for $129,900 (I'll admit, against Nate's advice) and we ended up settling for $124,900 and I pay $4000 of the buyers closing costs.

I have to bring $5000 to $6000 to the table just to get out...which in my case is FINE, I am moving to a place my Parents own where I will pack away just short of $6k a month and I don't have to pay anything but insurance on my cars, gas, food, etc...then drop whatever I save onto a cheap house near N. FW off 170 or N. Keller...

Sad I put all that time/money into a house and end up losing money on it...Buy high sell low! wooo

btw, if it weren't for Nate, I wouldn't have jack $#@ on the table...he is truly a miracle worker.

I wish this was the case out here, all we can get for 115k is a crap house in a bad neighborhood. I would kill to get a nice house for that price, I got a deal on my 2000sqft house that is nothing special and paid 160k probably worth 175 as is and 190-200 with some money spent on updates. I guess that just comes with the territory when you have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.Originally posted by FATHERFORD View PostIt's bs...
