Eat at Hard 8 early. The later you go, the drier it gets. If you have a chopped beef sandwich, get it on jalapeño sourdough. It's not hot, just delicious. After the game, if you aren't hitting the bars, catch a late movie, or go to bed. Those are the only choices you have. I like the Rockin' P on the square. I'll be out of town this weekend, otherwise I'd come buy you a beer dude.ZOMBIE REAGAN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!!! heh

We are going to be there early that day, so Hard 8 may be lunch and then Mazzios for dinner.
I'll let you know when we come back. This may be a regular thing for us. My wifes best friend daughter goes to Tartleton, so we may visit a few more times this year.Originally posted by Yale View PostEat at Hard 8 early. The later you go, the drier it gets. Every now and then, one of the texas country singers like Pat Green will walk on stage and play. They can't announce it, and can't get paid, so you never know who or if it will happen.Originally posted by Stunter Bob View PostHit up a good country bar!!
Drove all the way there one night to see Stoney Larue and it was well worth it.
Its a really small bar, small dance floor, but a really good environment if your into the country thing.
I spent a few nights up there."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford
