I've been carrying at the fair for as long as I've been old enough to carry a gun. Never had any problems, even on cracka day. I'll be there tomorrow, I usually go a few times a year.

Present your CHL to the workers with the metal detector wands at the gate. They will direct you to the cop by the gate. One year I had to wait for some security bozo to ride up on a moped and write down my CHL info (the neckbeards apparently protest this?). Last year the cop at the gate was sitting in his booth asleep so I didn't bother him and just walked in.
