Really? How? No it's not the only country but when your here you should speak the language not expect us to learn yours. Would Mexico tolerarate what the hispanics here expect us to? I don't think so. Yes we are a blended country with one primary language. Every other ethnic group that has come to this country has made it a priority to learn the language....WHY CAN'T THE HISPANICS?

The difference is the asians don't EXPECT us to learn their language. They put a high priority in learning the english language! They may not have known it when they got here but they DID learn it. There are MANY hispanics that feel they shouldn't HAVE to and refuse to. Sounds to me like YOUR the racist! You feel it's fine to come into another country and not learn the language. Like your language and culture is superior to ours. It's not nor is it any worse than ours. I don't disrespect your culture yet everytime a hispanic expects to be treated differently or to have goverment forms in spanish he disrespects mine. I am all for keeping your culture intact but realize that learning english DOES NOT hurt your culture. In fact not learning english hurts it because it will forever limit you to low paying menial jobs. The American Dream is that everyone can rise up above their beginings and make a better life for themselves and their children. Why in the world would you intentionally sabotage that?

I can't afford to be racist I'm Comanche, Scotish, Dutch, German and who knows how many others mixed in. ALL of my ancestors learned english. I am a direct decendant of Quanah Parker who learned english well enough to represent the Comanche people in congress.
