Happens all the time. That was an exceptionally large one, but I regularly see people with 20-100k in revolving debt. The higher the credit score, the more often it happens, usually.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostHoly shit, how does that happen?"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Over-extended much? Wow, just wow."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

So as long as they keep paying their minimum and jumping through hoops to make it look like they are responsible, they keep going further and further in debt.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostHappens all the time. It's possible she had a higher income at one time. Could have been the spouse of someone wealthy. A lot of time what will happen is people will pay their credit cards very well and the balances increase time and time again. Eventually they just go ape shit and max them out.Originally posted by talisman View PostI seriously can't even see how that is possible.
