Jester, after my divorce- which was incredibly stressfull, I just wanted it quiet,and boring. For about a year I was content to work, reorganize & cleanup my life. I found the quiet routine quite restfull. I ate healthy food, worked out, walked 7 miles a day. After about 16 months I got tired of that & slowly started to work back into dating.

Been doing this for awhile now, and it is so.. Peaceful.

I love how people try to fix problems with medications and it makes them worse off. Depression is a real thing... find out what depresses you about your life and change that. If that means a new job, a new place to live, a new gf/bf/ etc then do it. Instead, we just go get medicine and continue doing what made us depressed in the first place.
