Does anybody on here know of a REAL pool hall where the tables aren't covered with torn/worn rags, there isn't a jukebox playing Jay Z at 1000 db, and the tables aren't 2 feet apart? Sure would like to find a place like that.

CJ's billiard Palace on Gaston. REAL tables and good food, too. Used to stroke some wool in there a few years back. Used to be some high dollar ($300-$500 a rack) games played in there, too. A few nice "regular" hustlers, but will pretty much leave you alone.

This, but I honestly don't know if it is there anymore. Seems like I heard the place closed or changed ownership.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostCJ's billiard Palace on Gaston. Here in lies the problem. All the good places have turned into karaoke bars with neglected tables. I remember back ine 80's when Fast Freddy's was the place to go to see serious pool being played....now it's just a joke.Originally posted by Stephen View PostLMAO!! that place is a shithole!
