I've got 60k on mine, and would have an easy 30-40,000 left if it weren't for bad ball joints and a needed alignment. I've heard good things about the BFG Long Trail T/As as far as tread life, and noise. It's what i'm probably putting on the Titan here soon, they are 150ish a tire for 265/70/17s.

yea, they are great tires. For 70/tire less the BFG's have a 580AB rating
UTQG rating
Treadwear (number) higher the number, the longer the tread lasts
Traction (first letter), AA best - C worst, stopping on wet pavement
Temperature (last letter), A best - C worst, resistance to heat and ability to dissipate heat

I got a little over 60k out of my bfg's. I have Falken Rocky Mtn ATS's on my f150.. great ride and amazing wear...and cheaper than the AT's when I was looking. Plus i hate BFG's.. you can always hear them coming down the road.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostExactly what I thought.

I bought a set of Sumitomo tires from them (they said it was their top brand) and had belts come loose with 40% tread life left. They offered to replace the bad ones with a "discount" of $15 off each bad tire (these were $200 each).
Also, they tried pushing some 4 year front end alignment on me for some stupid high price.
I'll never go back.
