This is exactly why I don't signal a lane change. Now if I have to move over and the person behind me is close I will flip it on but on the norm the minute I see that it is safe(several car lengths) I move over.

That was my strategy with the shitbox. It just screamed 'no insurance' and I made lane changes whenever I damn well pleased.

Yesterday I'm sitting in traffic at a slow 20mph crawl on 161 headed south and I see this person driving down the left shoulder of the highway pass me, only to be pulled over by a cop just moments later. That was the 7th time I've seen that happen on 161 in the past 6 weeks, each time it was either by an Irving or Grand Prairie officer. And I had to laugh at the guy yesterday because not only does he get pulled over but he looks like an asshole in front of everyone as he just sits there with the cop behind him and every body stares as they pass him.

I just don't get why these people think they'll get away with driving down the shoulder, it's pretty damn obvious when it happens too. Surprisingly I haven't seen any bikers cutting lanes or driving down the shoulder.

I see a bunch of people that do that when the shutdown 121 and 114 for construction in front of my job. There was one saturday where the cop was getting like 5 a min going from the freeway to the frontage road.
