I never got over to any malls around Arlington, but I remember when Big Town was in its heyday and its last days. Now even the Big Town Lanes is demolished and gone. Big Town was a big deal in its day. First air-conditioned indoor mall in the Southwest in 1959.

I remember walking around it in the mid 90's. The only thing left was a couple of shoes stores, and Montgomery Wards.

I do remember there being a Sears service center I think(or Montgomery Wards). I also bowled right before the bowling alley closed.
