    This is the last weekend for deer and its just youth. My son went with my brother to his deer lease this weekend since its the last one. Its his first hunting trip and was super stoker!

    Gota love West Texas. I love working Del Rio to Alpine because of all the wildlife you see. Plus the desert really comes alive with just a little bit of rain. Last week a mountain lion was killed 45 miles west of san antonio. They said it was a young male and weighed 90lbs. They are around and closer than you think.

    Not doubting it, but a lot of folks see big bobcats in the warmer months without their thick, spotted coats and confuse them for lions. Not saying they are not in Texas, they are just more reclusive....
