We've been up about 45 mins. About to have some sausage, bacon and an egg then head to the stand. Funny that we eat better here then we do at home sometimes haha

I plan to take a for this weekend I'm hunting one of the other guys stands this morning and just got scared to death by some damn ducks coming in not 2ins later his feeder went off and surprised me then a couples mins later shit starts falling out of tree and hits the top of the stand

If you need someone to take care of your duck problem, let me know.

So far this morning I have seen a borderline legal 8 (has to be 13" wide) and a doe but the doe was only visible for about 3 seconds and she was TINY
Still a couple more hours in this mornings hunt so we will see what happens

Well I didn't get a deer but it wasn't a completely dry weekend

This coyote came out on te other side of the tank while I was driving over the dam so I stopped the truck and blasted his ass

It's always interesting to hear about the different routines during the hunting season. For me, by 6:15am I would have already been in the stand for about an hour. Then, if I hadn't taken anything I would pack up around 9:30-10:00 and head back in for some breakfast and a maybe nap if I felt the need, then go back out for an afternoon hunt at a different stand around noon.

$575 is the going rate for a Bobcat, so depending on what you got done sounds pretty spot on to me.

Then, if I hadn't taken anything I would pack up around 9:30-10:00 and head back in for some breakfast and a maybe nap if I felt the need, then go back out for an afternoon hunt at a different stand around noon.

We usually get in the stand about 45 minutes before the sun comes up and Hunt till around 10 and we go and like you said take a nap and eat but then we don't go back out to about 3p

I used to be the same way but that is when I was younger and gor bored of sitting. Started staying longera and seeing more and bigger deer. From reading and personal expeirance bigger deer come out/have been killed between the hours of 1030-1400....I myself really like the evening hunts as I dont have to get up early...not a morning person...

I started to stay in the stand later today but but the other guy was going to haul my deer to the locker or me if I got something because he had to go there anyway and it's an hour out of the way for me. But normally I leave the stand at 10 but I have thought about staying later next time

Didn't have any luck this weekend, saw one buck but it was too dark to tell how big he was and he didn't hang out. Damn sheep wouldn't leave us alone, I think I'll probably hunt our other feeder next time that's in a pasture where there aren't any sheep. Other than that just a few small doe. I did almost get a rabbit with my LC9 out of the rhino lol.
