Here is a small world for you I went to AT a school at the same time Gargamel did.
yeah he was AE1 when i was there (briefly) but he'd already left 59 when i got here.

speaking of small world...i was at a bar in NOLA and this guy walks in who looks familiar. About 15m later he walks over and asks me my name...i tell him and then it hits me...he and I graduated from the same class in A school.

LOL... Yea, I think about that from time to time and laugh... it's crazy...

I guess I'm just an old man.

The wife says I should join the VFW and just sit at the bar with the other old codgers.

Don't have any regrets. It is not the same Navy you joined. Remember how it was after tailhook? Picture that with eleventy billion times more touchy freely crap. Now it is more important to go to college and do community service then know your rate and do your job. I am fixing to punch soon KFH can have my billet.

There is an American Legion post pretty close to us and there are always a number of cars there. I have thought about that myself. How cheap are the drinks?

Reasonable enough, but the dominoes action is hard to beat.

You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

The City of Ft Worth had a nice ceremony for city employees yesterday for the Marine Corps Birthday. The oldest Marine there was an Iwo survivor. It was truly an honor to get to shake his hand.
