So far, I've seen about $3k in damages.
    - at least 8 pairs of shoes, (stupid me left the bedroom door open)
    - Couple HDMI cables
    - Wii controllers
    - Coffee table
    - Several dining room chairs
    - Subwoofer for the hometheater
    - All 4 sides of the living room rug
    - 4 window sills
    - several door jams
    - Innumerable pillows and several dog beds
    - Outside of the house she's chewed up the wood on the bay window, all the plastic on the patio chairs and several spots on the wood fence.

I know she does it because she's bored - she never chews when I'm there. But I work 12 hrs a day and a crate isn't an option. Best I can do is a baby gate and keep her in the kitchen where she still has access to the dog door and can go outside. I've just accepted that anything in the dining room and kitchen that she could chew is already written off. I spray with bitter apple which seems to work - when you constantly spray it down - and I go through a bottle a week.

The last victim was her Kong brand "chew resistant" dog bed with a money back guarantee. LOL - I made sure to save the reciept.

    dog house outside.....

My buddy Travis had a Transylvanian hound and that thing chewed up so much of his shit it was amazing. Some of it was not little shit either. It shredded every cushion of a whole couch and reduced a coffee table to kindling. On top of that it ate Playstation remotes, cellphones, shoes, wallets. My buddy finally got smart and set up a run to put him outside when he was gone.

I have a younger dog who use to tear shit up every single day when he was a puppy. He is now about to be two but we've noticed every few 2-3 weeks he'll go back into his puppy stage and tear shit up randomly.

For instance we keep our two dogs in the bedroom when we are not home and put our computer chair / stools on top of our bed so he doesnt get on it and chew up the mattress, pillow and blanket like he use to when he was younger.

Now he isnt afraid of the stools anymore and sometimes randomly steal a pillow and tear it apart or he'll get on the bed anyways and start chewing on the mattress.

He's never been crated before, is it too late now? I really dont trust him wandering around the house when we are not home. Our older dog was never crated and he never tears shit up

Went to feed the barn animals and when I came back in the house, there was this nasty chemical smell. He'd found a box of those Strike-A-Fire sticks we use to start the wood stove and had chewed them up. They're made of wax and pressed sawdust, but damn if the whole house doesn't smell like a refinery now. With my luck he'll fart near and open flame and burn the house down.

    Stupid dog.
A little over week ago we got some dumped off lab/pit pups. Managed to get rid of one, but my wife INSISTED we keep the little booger on the left...

Those fuckers have sharp ass teeth. Keep jamming toys in his mouth, but every now and then human toes look fun to him.

When my Heeler was a pup, he chewed through a flat spot in drywall.

Now, he doesn't chew anything. But I will come home to find my boots on the bed, or sneakers on the couch.

Also, when my wife tries to put her sneakers on (and only her sneakers) he will come up and try to take them from her. Then run away and hide them.

My bitch boxer ate the damn remote for the surround sound dvd player, our wedding albums, the box under the bed that a shotgun came in and tons of other stuff. But I can not find the black spot in my heart that would allow me to be mad at her. I mean, how can you be mad at this face?

besides here chewing led to a righteous kill

I am afraid to see what she does to the tree or presents this year.
