I'm so glad out dogs don't do that shit. My little one will come in and if I have a dirty pair of boxers or socks on the ground he'll come in ninja style and grab them then take off. All I have to do is get up and snap my fingers and he drops them and head goes down LOL

Pretty sure that dog would be stuffed and put on the on top of the tree and put a halo on it's head in my house.Originally posted by pr1042 View PostOur dog dragged the christmas tree into the kitchen, broke most of the ornaments, and possibly ate some of the lights

Yikes! She must of loved that dog not to kill him for that!! Haha.Originally posted by vadertt View PostLol yeah, I was more worried when he ate the ant poison.
Shit, when my mom was still around her bullmastiff had issues with chewing brown and black pumps. They seemed plain enough to be cheap, but apparently manolo blahniks are $$$$$$. That dog was lucky it was loved!
That is funny as hell right there! I know it probably wasn't to you or at the time, but it made me laugh.Originally posted by pr1042 View PostOur dog dragged the christmas tree into the kitchen, broke most of the ornaments, and possibly ate some of the lights

I wholeheartedly believe in rescuing animals vs. purchasing them from breeders. I also believe in providing for those animals appropriately. I never once claimed to be a vet... or a CPA.. so shut the fuck up.Originally posted by Ruffdaddy View PostWatch out before the resident vet comes in here and starts bashing you for rescuing a dog.

You really are quite dense... let me lay it out for you:Originally posted by mustangguy289 View PostThe dog has a natural instinct to chew. He should not be punished for that and should be allowed to do it.
Right Jenn?
I'm not saying do not discipline the dog.. but don't discipline a dog for a problem that YOU refuse to take the steps needed to resolve in the first place.

My bitch boxer ate the damn remote for the surround sound dvd player, our wedding albums, the box under the bed that a shotgun came in and tons of other stuff. But I can not find the black spot in my heart that would allow me to be mad at her. I mean, how can you be mad at this face?

besides here chewing led to a righteous kill

I am afraid to see what she does to the tree or presents this year.Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

When my Heeler was a pup, he chewed through a flat spot in drywall.
Now, he doesn't chew anything. But I will come home to find my boots on the bed, or sneakers on the couch.
Also, when my wife tries to put her sneakers on (and only her sneakers) he will come up and try to take them from her. Then run away and hide them.
