Is this the best deal for the dollar? About to order....

I am very new to this, from what i can tell its a low end model. Much greater than the walmart or toysrus 69.99 special though. Look on the website they have upgradable and replacement parts for the Smash also..i maybe a bad person to ask though, this is my first non "off the cheap shelf rc car i have ever actually got to use..i think its badass cant not wait to buy me one

Over the budget but I recommend a basic rc-18t . It is repairable and durable and as he gets better it can be modded for more performance . And if he looses interest it has resale value .
