I guess I'm biased and old fashioned. I LOVE my Streamlights. I gots a Stinger DS LED with strobe, a LED TLR-1 (on my grock) and a Strion (on my AR), the big boy the 20XL with halogen and LED, old halo stinger, and my "DWI" stimulus which is a little Streamlight blue LED Pen light. The stinger DS gets a crap load of use, it's super bright, and strobes nicely.

The ultrafires will work. I still suggest a better battery and charger. The cheap ultrafire will give you very limited time on turbo mode.

Don't go cheap on a battery, this light puts a huge load on turbo mode. The AW brand are top shelf. Callie's Kustoms if you can find them. Any thing but ultrafire. Truefire are OK also. You are going to be amazed at the amount of light it puts out. Good choice..

I have one of these, 750 lumen's in the palm of your hand, about same size as surefire. But MUCH better output and for less than 100. It puts a wall of light. And its rechargeable.
Forget any thing that uses cr123a batterys unless your rich.

I have a streamlight that I have had for about 8 years now. Replaced the battery once. Best flashlight I have ever owned. Really bright too.

And the Fenix can be fitted with a rechargeable battery.

This light has 3 main levels (High, Medium, and Low). Each main level can be configured to one of its two sub-levels. The second sub-level of the High can be further configured to different brightness levels or strobes.
