I have one of these, 750 lumen's in the palm of your hand, about same size as surefire. But MUCH better output and for less than 100. It puts a wall of light. And its rechargeable.

Forget any thing that uses cr123a batterys unless your rich.

I have this one and love it. It's like a mini Q-beam

    TerraLUX makes some great flashlights.

I have a Lightstar 300, and I love it. I also have their 600 lumen 3 LED upgrade for the D CELL Maglight, that thing can spot an airplane. Thats another option you might look at.

Pelican or Surefire have always done well for me.

The new Arctic is more intense than ever before, with over 3,500mW of fully variable power, all-new modes, and a laser power indicator. Prepare to witness what the next generation of ultimate laser technology can do.

My current flashlight is about to Peter out and I need a recommendation for a really powerful flashlight, with the only caveat being it can't much over medium sized since I have to carry it on my person. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance
