Yes on the avant except for maintenance.

Find a good independent mechanic and stay on top of regular maintenance and you really shouldn't have much trouble.

I wouldn't mind a turbo'ed Outback. I like the WRX wagons, but if I got one of those, I'd just replace my car with the same car.
