Yeah pulling the plates is ideal when I traded my stang for the bike we both let the plates stay I did the right thing and had it registered. He pulled the bitch move and didn't handle his business. I got a nice packet from NTTA for 700$ worth of tolls. Granted I got it taken care with no cost to me but it's a inconivince no one should be burdened with.Originally posted by Chas_svo View PostMake sure to keep your plates. It's even better than just filing the paperwork. Besides, you never know who is really a douchebag unless you let them run around in your tagged vehicle!
Funny I actually found my old mustang up for sale on craigslist of course he wrecked it I believe it's still in my name technically.
Maybe my situation(car to motorcycle) was different cause I only paid like 40$ to transfer titles but I kept the old plates and registration was still current.

Take the paperwork to the Tax office right not the DMV? Same place you get registration stickers from?
As far as pulling the plates, the guy is coming up from Harlingen, so how does he get it back with out being pulled over every 5 miles?Jon

Maybe maybe not. I got a feeling the trade deal is going to fall through. Since the wife would kill me if I came home with a 4th vehicle lol and I need a truck more than a car I have trouble inspecting and only drive a day or two a month.Originally posted by crapstang View Postno more mach?
