I don't trade, I invest. Sometimes I speculate. But, how about five years from now? If WPRT is a great company that is going to turn a profit any day now, then a longer term shouldn't be a problem. I say it won't beat the S&P 500 over five years. Right now they are trading at 7 times their book value and their losses keep getting bigger every year despite record low natural gas prices.

I went from construction and traveling all over the country to working for a local financial company 9-5. Was weird but definitely worth it... so far! Pay is pretty damned good, finally getting some really good checks and just got my first quarterly bonus so life is good. This is just an entry level position and am already making moves to be in a much higher paying position within 9 months. Also nice having full health insurance, dental and vision taken care of by the company, not to mention the 401k matching and profit sharing. Fringe benefits are fucking amazing also.

My advice would be do it.

high of 1.92 today who listened? this stock has been 30 bux before. so that would be like a 1500% bagger or 150 times yo money! and i must reiterate WPRT. had you listened when i called this months ago you would have doubled your money. personally i wouldnt buy any of this garbage either because 347mike and al p said it was junk... sometimes buying junk nets a very good profit

Sometimes betting it all on black will net a very good profit too, other times you walk away empty handed.

IMO you are gambling, not investing. It's perfectly fine, do what you want with your money, but don't teach a newb to do it and tell him he is investing.

Lots of good advice in here OP, some bad advice also. Hopefully you can tell the difference.
