My dad has one of those dating back to the '60s. It's a Bulova as well and has the tuning fork that made the Accutrons of that period unique.

It's the 23 jewel. Similar to this one. I think it is a different year, but it is close.

i take my previous post back, i wore one when in the navy but that was only when we were out to sea and you have to log everything that happens along with the time

I don't. I tore up a $500 bulova and didn't buy another watch for about 8 years. After that i decided I might be able to take care of a watch now, so I spent about three fiddy on a titanium seiko, I didn't tear it up, but I lost it after 2 months. That was 5 years ago.

I've been thinking about another watch here lately but I'm skeeered it will be more money down the drain.
