I'm not having any issues with my rooted Evo 4G....in fact I'd have to say compared to my jailbroken and unlocked Iphone 3gs my Evo is much more stable (and I have pretty much the same apps on it that I had on my Iphone). One thing I DO like...very much....I can plug this thing into ANY computer with a USB port and can file share and drag and drop as I wish....and I can use my Evo pretty much like any USB drive. That was and will prolly always be one of my biggest gripes about the Iphone and IOs in general. I RARELY turn on 4G...I haven't noticed much of a difference between AT&T's 3g network and Sprints 3g network as far as speed...but I'm not playing COD or WoW. My own 4g tests have been a good deal faster than AT&T's 3G network normally..but it depends on the signal. There is NOTHING that could make me go back to an Iphone...you don't realize how big a difference the screen size is until you start browsing the web on it. The Iphone WAS great about 3 years ago...but other than some retarded apps that make it talk to you now...it really hasn't changed that much. One thing that hasn't changed is that Apple constantly holds back features that pretty much all the other manufacturers are already including (4G for one)...so that they can introduce a NEW and barely improved version every 6 months for another 4-6 hundred bucks. Its astonishing that people line up every 6 months or so after spending hundreds of dollars on the previous one...only to do the same thing again...for what....a different color case, a processor that is STILL much slower than what HTC or Samsung offer, a battery that you STILL cant change without paying Apple's overpriced service fee, or now a stupid talking phone? I'll keep my outdated Evo 4G..and eventually might get a newer dual core model..that will destroy Apple's current Iphone 4ss, 4si, 4ser,4s mkII, or whatever their current outdated phone is.

Odd, i left a 3gs for android 2.1 around june of 2010, and have never thought of going back to ios. And before you ask, yes, i've played with the 4s and ipad2 with ios5, and it just doesn't do it for me.Originally posted by Ruffdaddy View PostI hate apple but must admit, you will only like an android for the first few weeks. Android surely takes a level of understanding to really utilize and enjoy the device to its fullest.
Considering these people are doctors, i would not want them to move away from ios. They need things as simple as possible when it comes to mobile technology.

I spent 30 minutes in an AT&T store and asked this very question today....
I asked about how many people come in with iOS phones and try android phones. Kid said he sees a lot come in and try them, but they don't stick with them and go back to iOS..... Kid had an iPhone as his primary and a note for his toy...used the iPhone for nearly everything but web surfing.
don't do it.

From a support side, I would rather have to deal with a single IOS with Apple than have to deal with multiple android based OS's and a number of crap ass apps that they download.
However - not having to deal with Itunes fucking up my workstations and network would be a plus. (Can be mitigated with group policy and redirecting their My ___ folders so they don't get redirected to the server)

Buddy of mine just switched from a Evo 3D, he now refers to androids as "shitty phones"
