Yep that's the Bosch I got. It was the quietest on the market. My house has an open floor plan and I was tired having to turn up the TV with the dishwasher going.


btw...talking about this and bragging about my dishwasher shows I'm turning into an old man.

Yeah it is quiet as hell, and the red light projected on the ground is a great idea. I think we just appreciate quality.

I have a Samsung side by side and it keeps my food cold. It's only 3 years old though. Bought it from best buy along with Samsung front loading washer and dryer.

GE of course makes GE, they also make Whirlpool and Hotpoint. I believe Whirlpool is the flagship of their line.

Whirlpool..makes Roper, Estate, Whirlpool, Whirlpool Gold, Amana, Maytag, Jenn-Air and Kitchen Aid

Frigidaire owned by Electrolux and makes..Frigidaire and Electrolux (and most of the Kenmore Products now)

Kenmore..Sears NAMEPLATE..they make no products. Frigidaire is the largest supplier of SKU's for Sears. But most all brands make products for Sears. So if you know a "brand" feature you can spot the supplier of each Kenmore SKU.

Whirlpool is NOT made by GE. That would be like Ford building a car for Chevy. They are in direct competition for appliance market share.

Ive been researching also and they all seem to suck. In our last house we had Whirlpool Gold and had to replace the ice maker after 5 years. For our new house my wife wants a french door.

Same here on the Whirlpool Gold, but ours is going on ten years now. I would consider a LG Frech door one if I was in the market today.

I have a Kenmore for 11 years and ice maker konked out this past summer. $200 in parts so we're living with ice trays right now.

Don't walk away....RUN. In over 10 years of appliance sales, I have never had any luck with LG appliance products. If a customer asks me about LG products I would, say my opinion is "you can buy one from me but I would not try to sell you one". Most people understand that but when someone asks, "Why?". I tell them that I try to prevent issues before they come up!

Dishwasher have major drying issues (they don't dry)
Refrigerators are known for several issues. (Mainly compressors and interior light will come on with doors closed which causes heat and most likely melt the plastic liner around the light area)
LG Washers..take your pick on an issue...suspension system, door seal, motor or control panel

Interesting. We bought an LG front load clothes washer (direct drive or whatever) and have had it over 5 years with no issues whatsoever. We love it.

Relay on compressor is probably gone. Put a hot start kit on the compressor.
