Because there's never a first time is there? I mean all bank robbers automatically start with 5 offenses to their credit, right? Take that crap elsewhere. This is a corrupt ending to a case that should have been cut and dry. Allowing the kid to serve consecutive 25 year sentences seems fair enough to me. You could argue for the death penalty though.

It's the end for the two people that died, at least the end of their life on earth, their chance to see their kids grow, etc. Nothing is ending for the kid that murdered them. He gets life as normal. He can go to Hooter's and enjoy beers and wings and watch March Madness this week.Originally posted by ToRqUeTwIsTeR View PostFuck I forgot I was talking to the end all be alls of the world. It is all a matter of opinion and I do believe we all stated ours. The End?

Apparently in Midland, attacking someone with a box cutter at Whataburger is worse than killing 2 people.
Another one of the upstanding citizens of this town that was just sentenced.
Adriena Perkins, was recently sentenced on 2 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Perkins was sentenced to 13 years in prison and must pay $5000 in fines. She was sentenced for her part in an assault that occurred on July 26th of 2010. If you remember back, Perkins and Amber Neuser assaulted 2 people at the Whataburger near Wadley and Midkiff after a fight started at Woofers and Tweeters bar near the same intersection in Midland. Perkins had used a box cutter to attack 2 women at the Whataburger while Neuser restrained the women in the attack. Neuser was previously sentenced to 8 years in prison for her part in the attack.
