Yeah, I'm from Lakewood. Whiterock is all right. The main advantage to it is the lack of powered boats on it, so it flat rocks for canoe fishing. Almost everyone that fishes it, fishes from the bank, so the rest of the lake is pretty wide open.

The west shore on the bank to the west/south of the boat house has a little dock, and the south bank, to the west of the spillway are excellent. Other than that, the north shore, where the creek lets in is always packed, so someone must be catching something. Also, watch for people feeding ducks. They always attract a lot of brim, and fishing a crank bait or a spinner a little ways from that (10-20 yds) can be pretty effective.

I got pretty damn drunk. Ran the 5k, came home and showered, went back out for the parade, and drank a shit load of beer and tequila. Came home and slept for a while. I think I volunteered to babysit my nephew tonight

Everyone in my group was out like a light by 3. Started at 8am at a village house party, hit the parade and then back to the village. 2 kegs, inumerable flasks. Wanted to hit Energy Square but everyone was already out or bailing.
