I am glad I called off the order on the '13, but really pissed that I held off ordering the '12 in favor of the '13.

The piston coating for the 2013 is phosphate, which is a permanent lubricator. They are sticking with hyperyoufuckedit pistons. I do not foresee these motors being able to hold the power the 11-12 did with boost, but I'm no expert on the matter.

you rode in it with exhaust open only.. the motor wont be much louder.. Mikes setup was LOUD because of his F2..

Donnie (blownaltered) had a F1A and my ears rang for two days after he drove with that thing in my window for a few miles. lol.

its also quieter than the Bolt on 5.0 GT that lives down the street from me
so i consider it quiete..

Your car has damaged your hearing cuz your car is NOT quiet even with the M2W switch closed. It's just not completely badass loud like it is when they are open. The best way to test this theory, let's go knock on your neighbors doors and ask them what they think.

(2) i can still get 20+ mpg from a near 1000 rwhp car = conservative
(3) car is quite when cruising around and doesnt wake the dead = conservative.

with the new blower it still drives like stock.. in a few months the new motor will be in. and it will still drive like stock

naaa.. did a Baby blower.. and realised that i wanted more .. so i put in a small blower to replace the baby blower...

motor is still fine.. but its at the edge of what a stock LS motor can make.. happened to have another motor laying around so will drop it in.

the stocker is still fine.. but might as well sell it while i can pull some money out of it.

Steve, I just remembered I wanted to tell you that as quiet as they are inside, they're still pumping engine compartment sound into the passenger cabin. Look at the hose coming off of your CAI. It runs right into the passenger compartment so you can hear the roar of your new 5.0! Isn't that hilarious? I think i'm going to remove mine if I ever do an aftermarket CAI.

I filled mine with a paper towel. lol
