Not sure how I feel about him putting a boot to her head with her cuffed and sitting. Pretty sure it's an over reaction. He doesn't look terribly upset by her kick as he really doesn't even miss a beat.

This. There were other officers there to witness what she did so he should've just let it ride and charged her accordingly. Instead he reacted like a child and retaliated. He deserves whatever punishment he gets.

Thing is, I have several friends and family that are police officers and they have problems just like the rest of us. I know alot of them have very stressful lives and it spills over to their home life.

He shouldn't have kicked her, but I don't think he should lose his job either. Maybe a suspension and a desk for a while. If he wouldn't have done anything, then she would have continued to escalate the situation.

I agree with the term "play stupid games, win stupid prizes", but a drunk chick in handcuffs does not deserve that kind of treatment.

have seen this type of behavior too many times from drunk individuals. They are like 5 yr olds. If you let it go they keep getting worse. That doesn't mean you need to kick them in the head though. Maybe they should have put her in a squad car for her own protection... damn I could do his job!

Been there done that, I used to bounce at clubs and have had to deal with drunk people.
