I thought the movie was good but not near as good as the hype. Seems to me there were a lot of blanks that need to be filled in by reading the books which I won't do. I will say Jennifer Lawrence is smoking hot. Saw a nice preview for "House at the end of the street" and she looks damn good in it.

Excellent post and you are right. There are a lot of details and back story left out of the movie. The book is good, I would recommend reading it.Originally posted by dmh165638 View PostI thought the movie was good but not near as good as the hype. My son and wife went to see it, but they both read the book(s).Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

I have applauded at the end of a few movies. For some weird reason smacking my hands together to make noise makes me feel good. I didn't applaud the end of this movie, but I have definitely applauded at the end of a long awaited movie on opening night.Originally posted by talisman View PostLOL, I always laugh at retards that do that. Who are you applauding?!
Good movie, though. Enjoyed it.May God give us strength and courage in the time of our darkest hours.

I saw it last week expecting I wouldn't like it. I was surprised...it wasn't too bad, although I did have a few flashbacks from the Running Man.....I kept expecting Richard Dawson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, or Maria Conchita-Alonzo to pop up on the screen but they never did. I'm sure I will see parts II and III when they get made.
