The heated paperclip is fine, until you push too far.

Had that done once, Dr did it I smashed the shit out of my finger. First one felt good, second one he went a little deeper and The pain was unreal. He used a tool that looked like a soldering iron.

anyway, didn't read anything else after this, I used a sterilized small drill bit. By hand of course. the second it bled out I felt soooooo much better.

Had that used on me when I split my finger down to the first joint with an exacto knife. That was, ummm, fun. They did an awesome job though, other than a little dent in the tip of my finger, there's no evidence of a wound.

That was what my dad wanted to do, but I was being a giant pussy. I let him drive the paperclip and he hit what felt like the bone of my finger, which is apparently in direct linkage to your spinal cord.

Try dropping a 12" torque converter thats full of tranny fluid directly onto your finger while laying underneath a car...from about 18 inches above.
Broke my pointer finger in 2 spots and smashed it so flat that the pressure ruptured the end and blood shot out. It was a bit painful.

When it happened I really thought it had severed my finger...it hurt so fucking bad. My dad had to help me crawl out from under the car and I blacked out briefly. My finger was black within 24 hours...and here it is just over a year later...and I still have loss of feeling at the tip of my finger.

Once I was trying to put motor mount bolts into a BBC 396. It was resting on the motor mount and slipped off onto my finger. Yeah, smashed my finger while I screamed and cussed until my friend figured out that he needed to lift the engine back up.

I'm still trying to wrap my head how he did that.

Overdraw rest fail? Looks like a whisker biscuit rest, but never seen one on an overdraw mount. Combined with too short of a shaft, theres a whole lotta fail that happened at once to do that.
