Tornado in Oak Cliff/Dallas County/Tarrant County/Ellis County

Hell, i didnt even know he was going camping until she texted me an hour ago telling me about the weather and his trip. Hes been out there since yesterday. Stupid Watauga school district, how in the hell do you allow a fucking camping trip knowing there's potential for severe weather? Bunch of idiots.

I watched the one off I45 touch down in wilmer. It threw a lot of debri into the air from what I could see.

Heres some pics I took on my phone of the tornado(s) as they were coming into Glenn Heights/far West Red Oak/Ovilla...there was debris in the pics but it is hard to see in the pics. There was SOME structural damage in the area off Ovilla Rd West of 35 but NOTHING like Lancaster.

Went to the airport trying to get out to NOLA flights all cancelled. Went out to my truck to drive home and found out I am the proud owner of a Toyota golf ball. My hood and roof got jacked up. There were tons of cars in express south with busted out windows. They kept chasing us into the inner part of the airport during the tornado warning. I feel for the poor bastards who lost houses and more.

How far is the express south lot from the off site parking lots on 183?

Not sure mileage wise. It's just south of the terminals. Say a mileish from the toll booths. From 183 itself I would say five miles or so all together.

I've already heard a few friends report the offers for roof repairs in that area. I understand making a living...but it's just too soon sometimes.

Actually, it's not profiting off the families that just lost so much. It's actually offering services that the insurance companies are going to be paying for, and offering to do work that is going to have to be done regardless.

But thanks for your usual dick headed response.

And I haven't seen your offer to step in and help clean up. Care to do so now?

I'm in the same area. How bad was the damage?

Red Oak/Oak Leaf had very slight damage...mainly carports, siding, shingles, and fences...lots of trees down off Uhl Rd. It went across a field behind the church at Uhl and Ovilla Rd and looks like it may have gone back up and skipped the large residential area north of Ovilla Rd. I think it came back down just north of Bear Creek and 35 and passed just east of the Life school. The real damage started as it came into Lancaster near Beltline...about 1 mile east of 35 (behind Wal-Mart). From Beltline the damage intensified significantly as it tracked Northeast. There was major damage at Pleasant Run/Houston School Road (probably low EF2). From Houston School Rd north to I-20 there was severe damage...many homes completely destroyed as far as the eye could see Damage looked like low EF3 or strong EF2...track was about 1/3 mile wide...and it was possibly a multi-vortex (I saw a multi vortex in Red Oak with 2 distinct funnels). I didn't go any further north than Pleasant Run because I didn't want to be in the way of emergency vehicles and I didn't want flat tires.
